Various manpage / README fixes

 - Improve description a bit, especially wrt chip packages and
   protocols.

 - Add some missing parameters to manpage option descriptions.

 - Remove long obsolete DoC support note.

Corresponding to flashrom svn r425 and coreboot v2 svn r4088.
